BEYONCE SET TO TAKE A HALF YEAR LONG BREAK FROM MUSIC IN 2010

International Diva, Beyoncé is set to take a 6-month break from music in 2010. The hard-working star has seemingly been on the go in 2009, releasing videos, performing and touring but hopes to spend a good half of 2010 not associated with anything musical.

"It's definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries," says Beyoncé. "I'd like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again. I've always worked hard, but I feel like I worked harder this past year than I have since I was just starting out. I just had all these great opportunities."

The Single Ladies-singer's "I Am...Tour" took her to 110 cities around the world. It will finally chronicle in Central America and the Caribbean, a part of the world Beyoncé has never performed.

Beyonce also notes, "when I got home, I wrote out a contract with myself. I made a list of everything I want to do that has nothing to do with music. Well, some of it does. But I promised myself that I would not go back on tour or in the studio until I finished these things."

"It will be the hardest thing in the world for me to make myself not do an album and shoot a video and turn it in and say, 'I'm ready!' I already have all these melodies and ideas in my head. I have to tell myself, 'Sit down! Sit down!'"-SOURCE

A break for Beyoncé is very well deserved. She has been on the fly for the longest and I know that she has got to be super exhausted from her tour. She still has a couple singles coming up ('Telephone' with Lady GaGa and 'Put It In A Love Song' with Alicia Keys) as well as a Grammy's performance in February. I'm sure she'll take her 6 month break and have new material ready by November/December time again. New music from her is always welcomed. But for now here is her new video "Video Phone ft. Lady Gaga & her next two songs she is set to shoot in the near future.

Well I guess Lady Gaga can officially crown herself a Megastar if she hasn't yet. Gaga, will appear on the Oprah Winfree Show on Friday Jan. 15, 2010. Once you go on Oprah its no turning around in your fame, meaning that she has reached a stature in your career where you are at a peak and from that point on you can eitherr be know for being that awsome global superstar that everyone loves or you could be that crackhead that spent all their money from the music business. All in All, I LOVE Lady Gaga!!!

Lady Gaga's Third Single From The Fame Monster Album

The third single on Lady Gaga's 2nd album is "Alejandro". This was the first song I actually heard when I found out the The Fame Monster album back in September. It was a personal favorite of mine so I was glad to see a remastered edition on the album. The song itself will definitely prove to be another #1 hit for Miss Gaga.

LADY GAGA TOPS BEST SELLING ALBUMS OF 2009

LONDON (Reuters) – Lady Gaga's single "Poker Face" and Susan Boyle's debut album "I Dreamed A Dream" were crowned Britain's biggest-selling records of 2009, the Official Charts Company said on Sunday.

New Yorker Lada Gaga's debut single, "Just Dance," was number three in the official singles chart of 2009, just behind Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling."

Boyle, the runner-up of the "Britain's Got Talent" TV show, claimed top spot in the year's album chart after "I Dreamed a Dream" sold more than 1.5 million copies in six weeks.

The 48-year-old Scottish singer was unknown before her appearance on the talent show last April and became an overnight Internet sensation.

Boyle edged Lady Gaga's "The Fame" into second place in the list of the year's best-selling albums ahead of Michael Buble's "Crazy Love."

In the latest week's British singles chart, Lady Gaga's single "Bad Romance" returned to the number one spot. She pushed X Factorwinner Joe McElderry's debut single "The Climb" down to number two. Black Eyed Peas moved up three places to third with "Meet Me Halfway."

In the week's albums chart, there was a return to the number one slot for Paolo Nutini's "Sunny Side Up" which was first number one in June 2009. Lady Gaga's "The Fame" occupied number two with Boyle's album in third.

Well It looks like someone was aiming straight for Miss Gaga's "Poker Face" cuz thats exactly where she got hit with an bouquet of flowers while performing on Dec. 29, 2009 in Atlanta, GA.
